Qualifications

• 2+ years of transportation management experience with proven results.
• Independent thinker and decision maker that requires minimal supervision.
• Experience managing people in a fast-paced, time-sensitive setting.
• Complete knowledge of DOT requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and basic PC skills.
• MUST have Class A or B CDL and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Recruits and trains all drivers.
• Interacts with our full-service leasing company to ensure proper maintenance of all vehicles.
• Supervises payroll, truck leasing and fuel budgets.
• Supervises work performance and results of all drivers.
• Sets effective schedules to operate within budget.
• Prioritizes work effectively.
• Sets high expectations and goals.
• Takes responsibility for achieving performance results.
• Follows through to completion of work projects.
