Job summary

Juniper Landscaping in Carlisle, PA is seeking drivers to join our landscape maintenance teams. This dual driver/crew member role involves operating a 24’ truck and trailer and performing on-site tasks with the crew.

Candidates should have a valid driver's license and be willing to work outdoors in all weather. Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use hand and power tools is required. We offer growth opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Experience safely driving a truck & trailer.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Must be able to work for long periods outside in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving a company work truck with a 24’ trailer.
• Performing daily vehicle inspections.
• Working as a member of the landscape maintenance crew and completing jobsite tasks including mowing, edging, blowing, pruning, planting, weed pulling, applying mulch, and general landscape maintenance duties.
• Using hand tools, power tools, and/or equipment to perform landscape duties.
• Moving soil, equipment, and materials; performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Our Crew Members perform work on the job sites in a safe and quality manner to ensure beautiful landscapes for our clients. This position will be a dual driver/crew member position responsible for driving a Juniper truck & trailer and working alongside the landscape maintenance crew at each job site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Skills:

• Valid Driver’s License and ability to clear a Motor Vehicle Record check required
• Experience safely driving a truck & trailer
• Landscaping experience preferred
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
• Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
• Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
