Job summary

Juniper in Fort Lauderdale is hiring a Driver/Crew Member to support our landscape maintenance teams. This dual-role involves driving a 24’ truck and trailer and working beside the crew at each job site, ensuring safety and quality on every project.

Duties include vehicle inspections, landscape tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting; physical work outdoors in extreme temperatures. A valid driver's license and clean MVR are required; English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean MVR.
• Experience safely driving a truck and trailer.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Must be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving a company truck with a 24’ trailer.

Drivers for our Landscape Maintenance teams

Our Crew Members perform work on the job sites in a safe and quality manner to ensure beautiful landscapes for our clients. This position will be a dual driver/crew member position responsible for driving a Juniper truck & trailer and working alongside the landscape maintenance crew at each job site.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Safely driving a company work truck with a 24’ trailer
• Performing daily vehicle inspections
• Working as a member of the landscape maintenance crew and completing jobsite tasks including mowing, edging, blowing, pruning, planting, weed pulling, applying mulch, and general landscape maintenance duties
• Using hand tools, power tools, and/or equipment to perform landscape duties
• Moving soil, equipment, and materials
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Skills

• Valid Driver’s License and ability to clear a Motor Vehicle Record check required
• Experience safely driving a truck & trailer
• Landscaping experience preferred
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
• Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
• Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
