Qualifications

What You’ll Get to Do

The Class B Driver is focused on the responsible transporting and unloading of product to customers, while interacting daily with customers to help resolve any issues that may arise and reports to the plant leadership.

This role is perfect for an individual who is safety conscious & self-motivated and flexible with shift start and end time. A vital member of the Fleet Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Day to day activities will consist of handling and loading/unloading metal products, load securement, daily pre and post trip of vehicles, multiple deliveries, and customer service
• Unloading could include handling loose, crated, and racked metal and associated products.
• Regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks, and adherence to all DOT regulations, safety policies, and procedures, including Critical Safety Rules, are essential functions of your job.

What We Are Looking For

• Must be in compliance with all DOT requirements including an unexpired Medical Examiners Certificate
• 2 years of flatbed experience
• Must be able to read and interpret delivery schedules and ensure the labels on our boxes match the customer they are delivering to.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Good customer relations and people skills a must & flexible with start / stop times.
