Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro seeks a delivery driver to operate straight trucks, performing pick-up and delivery between service centers and customers in a multi-temperature environment. You will ensure safety, meet schedules, and maintain records while providing professional service.

The role requires a Valid Class B CDL with hazardous materials and tank endorsements, at least one year of experience with straight trucks, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Requires Valid Class B CDL with hazardous materials and tank endorsements.
• At least one year of recent experience with straight trucks or completion of a driver development course.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, sit for extended periods, and work independently or in a team.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to read route schedules and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Operate straight trucks and ensure delivery schedules are met.
• Provide excellent customer service and solicit new business.
• Secure freight using pallets, straps, and ropes.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and safety inspections.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, issues, and arrivals.
• Load, unload, and assist with freight handling using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Complete required documentation and maintain records.
• Follow hazardous material regulations and company policies.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Working Conditions

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, with exposure to noise, dust, diesel fumes, and hazardous materials, following DOT regulations. Must be able to drive on all road types.
