Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a professional driver to handle pick-up and delivery between Service Centers and customers, prioritizing safety, punctuality, and professional conduct.

You will operate straight trucks, secure freight, and perform pre-trip inspections while maintaining records and complying with DOT regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with hazardous materials and tank endorsements; automatic transmission restriction allowed.
• At least one year of experience operating straight trucks or completion of driver development course.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, follow instructions, and work independently or in a team.
• Must have acceptable MVR.

• Secure freight using pallets, straps, and ropes; load and unload cargo, and assist with freight handling using motorized and manual equipment.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and safety inspections; follow dispatch instructions and communicate delays or issues.
• Verify documentation, collect freight charges, and maintain records; comply with hazardous material regulations and company policies.
• Perform related duties such as tire chaining and recouping damaged freight as needed.
