Job summary

Clean Harbors in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Class A CDL Equipment Operator to operate a variety of heavy and light‑duty trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs, with driving and non‑driving duties in hazardous waste cleanup.

The role demands availability for emergency response and travel up to two weeks, paid two‑week out‑of‑state Academy training, typical 6 am starts on a Mon–Fri schedule, and overtime after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements preferred.
• Willingness to travel for emergency response up to 2 weeks at a time.
• Overtime after 40 hours and willingness to work on-site at various customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites (vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, roll offs).
• Conduct driving and non-driving duties related to hazardous waste cleanup.
• Be available for emergency response and travel up to 2 weeks; hotel and per diem provided.
• Attend two-week Academy training out of state (paid).
• Travel / On Call / Emergency response as required.

Clean Harbors in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Class A CDL Equipment Operator to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks/work equipment at our customer sites; some of the vehicles operated include vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs. This role is responsible for performing driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites associated with hazardous waste clean-up.

• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred, no automatic restriction
• Typically Monday through Friday schedule, average start time 6 am
• Average an 8-10+ hour day. Overtime after 40 hrs.
• Must be available for emergency response/project work that could take you out of town up to 2 weeks at a time, hotel and per diem provided
• Travel / On Call / Emergency response

Note this position requires new hires to attend our two-week Academy training out of state. Expenses are covered by the company, and it is paid training.
