Job summary

Clean Harbors in Wichita, KS is seeking a Class A CDL Equipment Operator to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs. The role includes driving and non-driving duties on and off sites for hazardous waste clean-up.

Hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred; training academy out-of-state paid by the company. Typical schedule Monday–Friday with 6–7 am starts, overtime after 40 hours, on-call and occasional travel up

• Must be available for emergency response/project work that could take you out of town up to 2 weeks at a time, hotel and per diem provided

• Perform driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites related to hazardous waste clean-up

Job description

Clean Harbors in Wichita, KS is seeking a Class A CDL Equipment Operator to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks/work equipment at our customer sites; some of the vehicles operated include vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs. This role is responsible for performing driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites associated with hazardous waste clean-up.

• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred, ability to obtain required, no automatic restriction
• Typically, Monday through Friday schedule, average start time between 6-7 am, overtime after 40 hrs.
• On call as needed
• Must be available for emergency response/project work that could take you out of town up to 2 weeks at a time, hotel and per diem provided
• Travel / On Call / Emergency Response

Note this position requires new hires to attend our one-week Academy training out of state. Expenses are covered by the company, and it is paid training.
