Job summary

Clean Harbors in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver / Equipment Operator / Hazmat / Tanker to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites for hazardous waste cleanup. This role includes driving duties and on-site/off-site tasks related to hazardous waste operations.

The position features paid two-week Academy training (which may be out-of-state) with company-covered expenses, and a competitive hourly pay range of $28.00–$34.00 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Class A CDL and Hazmat endorsement.
• Experience operating heavy and light trucks and waste clean-up equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, roll-offs and other equipment at customer sites.
• Perform driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites in hazardous waste clean-up.
• Attend paid two-week training academy (out-of-state possible) before starting.

This role is responsible for performing driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites associated with hazardous waste clean-up.
