Job summary

Sammons Industrial, LLC is seeking a CDL A driver to haul heavy equipment across service areas. You will operate rollback and sometimes 53-foot trucks, loading and unloading while following DOT standards.

A customer-first mindset, safety awareness, and reliable performance are essential as you support our team and customers. The role requires a Class A CDL with a strong safety record, and at least 1 year of equipment hauling or 3 years of commercial driving.

• 1 year equipment hauling or 3 years commercial driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safely and reliably.
• Operate a rollback truck and, at times, a 53-foot truck and trailer to transport heavy equipment.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment per DOT standards with inspections and documentation.
• Provide friendly service and explain safe equipment operation; perform basic checks.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and stay flexible with schedules.

What You’ll Make a Difference

• Deliver safely and reliably.
• Operate a rollback truck and, at times, a 53-foot truck and trailer to transport heavy equipment throughout Aubrey, Denton, Decatur, Frisco, Lewisville, Prosper, Celina, and surrounding areas.
• Own the load from start to finish.
• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload equipment in accordance with SitePro and DOT standards while completing required inspections and documentation.
• Take care of our customers and equipment.
• Provide friendly, helpful service, explain safe equipment operation, perform basic equipment checks or minor maintenance, and keep your truck and trailer clean and ready to work.
• Put safety and teamwork first.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections, maintain required certifications, participate in safety meetings, and stay flexible when schedules and customer needs change.

What You’ll Bring

• A valid Class A CDL, high school diploma or GED, and a strong driving and safety record.
• At least 1 year of equipment hauling experience or 3 years of commercial driving experience, with the ability and confidence to operate heavy equipment.
• A customer-first mindset, solid communication skills, and the ability to think on your feet and adapt when the day's plan changes.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that may vary based on business and customer needs, including occasional on-call coverage.
• You must also be able to lift up to 75 pounds and perform the physical demands of the role.
