Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Returns Processor for our Texas operations. You will verify driver-returned products, ensure correct coding, and maintain inventory accuracy by processing both paper and digital documents. Inspect returns for disposition and proper coding, then resolve discrepancies during end-of-day processing.

Responsibilities

• Verify returned product for accurate reason codes to reflect correct data in reports.
• Process all documents (paper and digital) for returns and adjustments to ensure inventory accuracy and customer invoicing.
• Inspect all returned product for appropriate disposition and proper coding.
• Execute end of day processes and reports; research and address discrepancies.
• Return saleable product to pick slot where allowed.
• Collaborate with drivers and transportation supervisors to resolve issues and identify process improvements.

Must be able to work on complex tasks and prioritize workload. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to be a resource to others in the division.Physical Requirements: Frequent, sitting, standing and walking, occasional lifting of 20 lb weights. Must be able to operate a computer and perform filing.Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state or local minimum wage thresholds).
