Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking CDL Drivers to join our team. You will drive a tractor around the site or on public roads, move multiple trailer styles, and help keep the supply chain moving safely and efficiently.

We offer consistent night schedules, Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, a generous benefits package on day one, competitive pay starting at $25.00 per hour with overtime, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months CDL Class A experience and a valid CDL Class A license.
• Endorsements for Hazmat and Tanker required if applicable.
• Excellent driving record and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drive a tractor in and around the site or on public roads, moving multiple styles of trailers.
• Inspect tractor/yard truck before and after the shift.
• Maneuver tractor/trailer safely throughout the facility within the designated lanes and areas.
• Maintain housekeeping within assigned tractor/trailer and defined areas.
• Inspect trailers to be moved to verify condition.
• Load and unload freight and supplies or assist in loading and unloading the truck.
• Work safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices.

What you'll do on a typical day:

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• 6 months of Commercial Driver's License (CDL) class A experience
• A current valid CDL class A driver's license and safe driving record
• Appropriate additional endorsements for Hazmat and Tanker (if required)

It'd be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
