Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Moncks Corner, SC is hiring a CDL Class A Driver for local, home-daily routes. Schedule Thursday–Sunday, 9:00pm–7:00am with pay starting at $29.50 per hour plus $3.00 shift differential.

Local routes mean you’re home each day and overtime is available after 40 hours. You will transport goods between facilities, perform pre-trip inspections, and communicate with dispatch to ensure safe, on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• 6 months of CDL experience operating the same type of equipment within the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• A current valid CDL A driver’s license and an acceptable MVR.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds) is a plus.

• Touch freight position.

Pay rates starting at $29.50 and $3.00 Shift Diff per hour plus overtime pay available after 40 worked hours per week.

About The Role

As a CDL Driver, you’ll not only drive our equipment, but you’ll also drive our success! You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily. Responsible for safely transporting materials between company facilities, accurate movement of products and equipment to support daily operations.

What You’ll Need To Succeed At GXO

At a minimum you’ll need:

• 6 months of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 years


• Must be at least 21 years old


• A current valid CDL A driver’s license and an acceptable MVR

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
