Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Summerville, SC is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for home daily local routes. You’ll drive 53ft tractor trailers, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• 6 months of CDL experience operating the same type of equipment or larger in the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• A current valid CDL A license and an acceptable MVR.
• Appropriate endorsements for Hazmat and Tanker (if required).
• High school diploma or equivalent; experience with moving multiple trailer types is a plus.

About The Role

As a CDL Driver, you’ll not only drive our equipment, but you’ll also drive our success! You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily. Responsible for safely transporting materials between company facilities and ensuring timely, accurate movement of products and equipment to support daily operations.

What You’ll Need To Succeed At GXO

• 6 months of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 years
• Must be at least 21 years old
• A current valid CDL A driver’s license and an acceptable MVR
• Appropriate additional endorsements for Hazmat and Tanker (if required)

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
