Job summary

Mars Electric in Mayfield, OH is seeking an experienced Class B CDL Route Driver to join our growing team. You’ll deliver materials to customer locations and job sites, load and unload with pallet jacks and lift gates, and keep deliveries on time and safe.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• Medical Examiner’s Card required.
• At least 2 years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong customer service and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customer locations, job sites and branch locations.
• Load/unload materials using pallet jacks and lift gates.
• Make multiple deliveries daily in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform daily pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and follow safety procedures.
• Occasional weekend work on first shift.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• On the Road: Drive company vehicles to deliver materials to customer locations and job sites, as well as our Mars branch locations.
• Hands-On Work: Load and unload materials using pallet jacks, lift gates, and hand unloading – all while staying safe and organized. This is not a dock-to-dock role.
• Fast-Paced Environment: You’ll be making multiple deliveries each day, keeping you on your toes and moving quickly!
• Safety First: Conduct daily pre/post-trip vehicle inspections, follow safety procedures, and ensure all deliveries are made on time and safely.
• Working First Shift: Weekend work may come up on a voluntary basis.

What We’re Looking For:

• Medical Examiner’s Card required.
• Valid Class B CDL required.
• At least 2 years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and climbing.
• Strong work ethic, with the ability to manage your time and stay on top of deliveries.
• Positive attitude and great customer service skills to ensure our customers receive the best experience possible.
