An established industry player is seeking a dedicated driver to operate vehicles for the delivery of lumber products. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to navigate both urban and rural routes safely. Candidates should have a valid Class A CDL license and a strong commitment to customer service. Operates vehicles with a semi-trailer or trailer with two or more axles. Responsible for delivering and picking up lumber products from and to project areas, driving within urban and rural residential and commercial locations across intrastate and interstate routes.
High School Diploma or GED; minimum 1-year driving and delivery experience; forklift experience preferred; Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) experience a plus.
Current DOT certification and valid, unrestricted Class A (CDL) license; pass pre-employment drug screen and physical; availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime; maintain regular attendance.
Work is performed in jobsite and yard environments, with exposure to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, noise, and dust. Activities require physical effort including lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. Must be able to lift/carry up to 80 lbs., squat, bend, climb, and operate motor vehicles and heavy equipment safely. Visual acuity is required for vehicle operation.
