Job summary

DO & CO group is seeking a dynamic Non-CDL Driver to support our New York team. This role involves transporting meals, equipment, and supplies between facilities and airports, handling loading/unloading, fueling, inspections, and ensuring on-time, accurate catering for flights.

You'll work outdoors in varying conditions, lift up to 75 pounds, and maintain safety standards while collaborating with dispatch, airline partners, and management. Flexibility across all shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Air brake endorsement preferred.
• Must meet all requirements to obtain and maintain PAP/NYC airport ID badge in accordance with TSA regulations.
• Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Communicates clearly with team members, airline representatives, and operations partners.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and challenging environments.
• Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving up to 75 pounds.
• Able to work at heights up to 20–25 feet.
• Must stand, bend, lift, and move for shifts of eight hours or more.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Transport meals, meal carts, equipment, and supplies between DO & CO facilities, third-party vendors, and the airport.
• Load and unload aircraft according to procedures and regulations.
• Ensure each flight is catered accurately and on time.
• Provide catering services to airline clients while handling equipment safely.
• Complete required vehicle fueling and pre- and post-operation inspections.
• Maintain assigned vehicles in safe condition and report issues to Dispatch.
• Comply with airport, airline, company, and TSA requirements.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Transport meals, meal carts, equipment, and supplies between DO & CO facilities, third-party vendors, and the airport.
• Load and unload aircraft according to DO & CO and airline procedures, regulations, and equipment-handling requirements.
• Ensure each assigned flight is catered accurately and on time.
• Provide catering services to DO & CO’s airline clients while handling all equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete required vehicle fueling and pre- and post-operation inspections.
• Maintain assigned vehicles in safe working condition and immediately report damage, mechanical concerns, or other irregularities to Dispatch.
• Comply with all airport, airline, company, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Air brake endorsement perffered.
• Must meet all requirements to obtain and maintain a Port Authority of New York and New Jersey airport-issued identification badge in accordance with TSA regulations, including 49 CFR § 1542.209.
• Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Communicates clearly and professionally with team members, airline representatives, and other operational partners.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Capable of safely lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving products, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights of up to 20–25 feet.
• Must regularly stand, bend, lift, and move throughout shifts lasting eight hours or longer.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
