Job summary

DO & CO group in Romulus, MI is seeking a dynamic Non-CDL Driver to join our growing team. The candidate will transport meals and equipment between DO & CO facilities, airports, and third-party vendors, loading and unloading cargo and ensuring correct catering for flights.

Applicants must hold a valid Chauffeur license, have box truck experience, and be able to obtain an airport ID. A criminal background check is required, with duties performed outdoors in all weather conditions, and some shifts

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transport meals, meal carts, and equipment between DO & CO facilities, third-party vendors, and the airport.
• Load/unload aircraft according to regulations and equipment handling procedures.
• Ensure flights are catered correctly for the airline clients.
• Cater to DO & CO’s clients and handle airline equipment expeditiously and safely.
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained in full working condition and report irregularities.

We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and eager Non-CDL Driver to join our growing team in Romulus!

Responsibilities:

• Transport of meals, meal carts, and any equipment needed between the DO & CO Facilities and third-party vendors, and the airport.
• Load/unload aircraft according to DO & CO and airline regulations, specifications and equipment handling.
• Ensure flights are always catered correctly.
• Cater to DO & CO’s client’s airlines and handle airlines equipment expeditiously and safely.
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained in full working condition (including fueling and pre/post checks) and report any vehicle irregularities to dispatch immediately.
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations and all applicable rules/regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Chauffeur driver’s license
• Experience driving box trucks is required.
• Requirements necessary to obtain airport ID.
• Must Pass a criminal background check.
• Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise. Many duties performed outside in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five (75) pounds.
• Must be able to work at heights up to 20-25 feet.
• Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.
• Communicate effectively with team members, make sure communication is clear and understood by co-workers.
