Hansen & Adkins Auto Transport, Inc. is seeking a Driver Assistant Supervisor to support loading of vehicles for transport to dealers and destinations, ensuring safe, damage-free deliveries in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

You will collaborate with drivers, dealers, and terminal staff to improve efficiency, perform pre-load inspections, monitor audits, and support cost-effective handling while upholding teamwork and safety across our nationwide network.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years yard supervisory or auto hauling experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of industry software preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work weekends or holidays.
Professional driving ability.
Team-oriented and safety conscious.

Responsibilities

Support drivers in loading and exiting the yard efficiently.
Ensure compliance with vehicle handling and securement policies through audits.
Perform pre-load inspections and record any defects or damages.
Collaborate with dealers, railroad and third parties to reduce claims costs.
Identify trends and suggest operational improvements.
Assist in load changes and process management for driver devices and document storage.
Prepare safety/quality reports related to collisions, injuries, and damages.
Complete all tasks assigned by management.
