Job summary

Curtis Lumber Co, Inc. is hiring a Driver Assistant in Castleton-on-Hudson, NY. The role supports transportation and delivery of building materials with an emphasis on professional customer service and safety on every job.

The position is full-time (40+ hours per week) at $18-20 per hour, with weekly pay and annual performance-based raises. A strong material-handling mindset and ability to lift 50–80 lbs, plus PPE, are required.

Qualifications

• Strong emphasis on excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.
• Must be able to lift 50-80lbs regularly.
• Must wear PPE during tasks.
• Building material product knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transporting building material products to branch yards, homes, and job sites.
• Load, secure and unload material for delivery using proper handling practices.
• Support truck maintenance and staging of loads for delivery.
• Operate a propane forklift safely when required.

Curtis Lumber is currently looking for a Driver Assistant to assist with transportation and delivery!

$18-20 per hour starting rate, Annual performance based raises!

Responsible for assisting with transporting building material products to branch yards, existing homes, and/or construction job sites. Strong emphasis on excellent customer service and customer satisfaction. Use proper material handling practices to load, secure and unload material for delivery.

• Paid weekly on Fridays
• Discretionary profit share after one year of employment
• Six paid holidays and PTO Immediately
• Must be able to lift 50-80lbs regularly and able to operate a propane forklift safely
• Must wear PPE
• Building material product knowledge a plus
