Job Summary: The Driver and Facilities Support rolecombines transportation and maintenance duties, requiring a valid driver's license and handyman skills. This role is responsible for driving company vehicles, performing basic repairs, and maintaining facilities in good working order.In addition, this role will require operating industrial shredding equipment (training provided).
Driving:
Safely operate company vehicles for various purposes, including deliveries, pickups.The driver must be comfortable with towing trailers, hauling equipment and operating large box trucks. May require several days a week operating a delivery route that will last the whole shift.
General Maintenance:
Perform routine building maintenance tasks, including repairs to equipment, furnishings, bathrooms, light fixtures, walls, floors, and landscaping.
Address minor repairs like drywall damage, broken windows, or general maintenance tasks.
Special Projects:
Assist with special projects such as painting, assembly, and repairs as needed.
Property Inspections:
Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment to identify potential issues and proactively address them.
Work with other staff to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring safety compliance.
Record Keeping:
Maintain detailed records of completed work and report on the status of ongoing projects.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding maintenance needs and updates.
