Job summary

PALS CHRYSALIS HEALTH CO. in Mingo Junction, OH is seeking a Driver for Non-Medical Transportation to pick up clients from Adult Living Facilities and transport them safely to programming, then return to the original location each day.

Split-shift schedule, Monday–Friday, with paid time off and discounted health benefits. Must pass a DOT physical, have a High School diploma or equivalent, and hold a valid Ohio driver’s license with <6 points.

Qualifications

• Must pass a DOT physical.
• High School diploma or equivalent knowledge of the discipline.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and individuals.
• Experience and documentation capabilities.
• Criminal background checks completed.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with fewer than six points; BMV abstract.
• Physical and drug screen required.
• Able to safely drive a company vehicle.
• Driving history must meet insurance carrier requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up clients from an Adult Living Facility or other agreed location using a company vehicle.
• Safely transport clients to programming and back to the agreed location each day.
• Maintain safety by ensuring all equipment is in proper working order.
• Routinely check van functions and schedule maintenance.
• Document vehicle safety checks, billing sheets, and program documentation.
• Interact professionally with clients and the community.
• Attend weekly technician meetings for additional training.
