Job summary

Circular Services is seeking a Class A CDL driver for full-time operation in Montgomery, AL. The role involves tractor trailers with a focus on safety, compliance with OSHA/DOT, and reliable delivery service.

Qualifications

• A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• At least three (3) years of experience driving commercial routes, preferably in the recycling or waste management industry.
• Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical and 7-year background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history and motor vehicle review.
• Must be able to verify and maintain accurate daily records.
• Be able to lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull 200 lb. recycling containers.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements, as well as all local, state and federal laws.
• Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections and document utilizing the standard DVR.
• Deliver quality customer service and interaction at the utmost professional level.
• Record and maintain daily customer delivery tickets.
• Communicate customer requests and/or service interruptions to Operations staff.
• Forklift operations are required.
• Designated daily delivery/pick up route assignment(s).

About the Role:
