Job summary

Circular Services in Montgomery, AL, is seeking a Class A CDL driver for tractor trailers. This is a full-time role on the 1st shift, weekdays from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

You will operate in compliance with OSHA/DOT rules and perform routine vehicle inspections while delivering professional customer service. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience with commercial routes (preferably in recycling or waste management) and can pass pre-employment DOT screenings.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• At least three years of experience driving commercial routes, preferably in recycling or waste management.
• Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical and 7-year background check.
• Must be able to verify and maintain accurate daily records; lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull 200 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements, as well as all local, state and federal laws.
• Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections and document utilizing the standard DVR.
• Deliver quality customer service and interaction at the utmost professional level.
• Record and maintain daily customer delivery tickets.
• Communicate customer requests and/or service interruptions to Operations staff.
• Forklift operations are required
• Designated daily delivery/pick up route assignment(s).
