Job summary

Circular Services is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver for our Tuscaloosa, AL operations. This full-time role requires delivery of goods with adherence to OSHA/DOT requirements, and a strong focus on safety and accurate delivery records.

You will conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, provide quality customer interactions, and maintain daily delivery tickets while complying with all regulations. Benefits include FSA, vacation, 401k matching and more.

Qualifications

• A valid Class A CDL is required.
• At least three years of experience driving commercial routes.
• Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull 200 lbs.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements, as well as all local, state and federal laws
• Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections and document utilizing the standard DVR
• Deliver quality customer service and interaction at the utmost professional level
• Record and maintain daily customer delivery tickets
• Communicate customer requests and/or service interruptions to Operations staff

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team.

Shift: M-F, 7AM-4PM (Job Type: Full-Time) | Location: Tuscaloosa, AL

Responsibilities:

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Must be 21 years of age
• At least three (3) years of experience driving commercial routes, preferably in the recycling or waste management industry.
• Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical and 7-year background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history and motor vehicle review
• Must be able to verify and maintain accurate daily records
• Be able to lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull 200 lb. recycling containers

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Normal work environment is outdoors, with exposure to all weather conditions, dirt, high levels of noise, smells/odors and at times exposure to dangerous and/or toxic substances requiring necessary precautions, including PPE.
