Job summary

Tireco Distributors (TD) in Bossier City, LA is seeking a Driver to deliver tires and wheels using a company vehicle. You will be the face of our company, providing friendly, professional service, loading and unloading, and handling payments and returns.

You may assist in warehouse tasks and operate equipment such as a clamp forklift. Requirements include a valid driver's license (no CDL required), DOT compliance, ability to cross state lines, and the physical ability to move tires 30–80 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; no CDL required.
• DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical; 21+; willing to cross state lines.
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy.
• Operate box truck and clamp forklift safely.
• Move tires 30–80 lbs daily; team lift for 80 lbs+.
• Preferred 2+ years of box truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires and wheels using a company vehicle.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service on delivery.
• Load and unload products; collect payments and manage returns.
• Maintain assigned vehicle; assist in warehouse orders.
• Operate forklift and assist with loading/unloading as needed.

Job Details: Job Location: Bossier City - Bossier City, LA, Salary Range: $17.50 - $17.50Hourly, Travel Percentage: Road Warrior, Job Shift: Day, JOB TITLE: Driver

As a Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle. Although you will be delivering most of the time, you will also assist in the warehouse orders, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklift.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Possess a valid standard driver’s license, some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical, be at least 21 years, eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy
• Ability to safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift
