Job summary

Tireco, Inc. is seeking a Driver in Houston, TX to deliver tires and wheels with a focus on safety and reliability. You will handle loading and unloading, document deliveries, collect payments, and maintain your vehicle while providing excellent customer service.

You may also assist in warehouse tasks and operate equipment like a forklift. DOT compliance and a valid license are required, with potential cross-state routes as needed.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid standard driver’s license; some states may require a Class D license – no CDL required.
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical; be at least 21 years old; eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required.
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy.
• Ability to safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift.
• Ability to manually move tires between 30–80 lbs daily; 80 lbs+ requires a team lift.
• Preferred - 2+ years experience safely operating a box truck.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires and wheels safely to customers using company vehicle.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service on delivery.
• Load and unload products and manage returns as needed.
• Collect payments and maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain and clean the assigned vehicle and ensure DOT compliance where applicable.
• Assist in warehouse duties and operate forklift when required.

Job Details: Job Location: Houston - Houston, TX, Salary Range: $19.50 - $19.50Hourly, Travel Percentage: Road Warrior, Job Shift: Day, JOB TITLE: Driver

As a Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle. Although you will be delivering most of the time, you will also assist in the warehouse orders, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklift.
