Job summary

Tireco, Inc is hiring a Driver in Baton Rouge, LA. You will deliver tires and wheels, load and unload shipments, and assist with warehouse tasks while maintaining excellent customer service.

The role requires safe operation of a box truck, ability to pass a DOT physical, and lifting up to 80 lbs with possible team lifts. Competitive hourly pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid regular driver’s license; in some states a Class D license may be required – No CDL required.
• Must be insurable under company driving policy.
• Ability to operate a box truck and a clamp forklift safely.
• Ability to pass a drug test and DOT physical.
• Lifting tires between 30–80 lbs daily; 80 lbs+ requires a team lift.
• Preferred: 2+ years experience operating a box truck.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires and wheels to customers in a safe, professional manner.
• Load and unload products and manage vehicle maintenance.
• Collect payments and handle returns or exchanges.
• Assist in warehouse orders and loading/unloading trucks.
• Operate equipment such as a forklift when needed.

Job Title: Driver

As a Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle. Although you will be delivering most of the time, you will also assist in warehouse orders, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as a forklift.
