Job summary

Tireco Distributors in Houston, TX is seeking a Driver to deliver tires and wheels using a company vehicle, providing friendly customer service and handling payments and returns. You will also assist in warehouse tasks and maintain the vehicle.

Candidate must have a valid driver’s license (no CDL required), pass DOT requirements, be 21+, and able to cross state lines. Forklift operation and occasional lifting of up to 80 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid standard driver’s license; some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required.
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical; be at least 21 years old; willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required.
• Be insured under company driving policy; operate a box truck and clamp forklift; manually move tires 30–80 lbs daily; team lift for heavier loads when needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires and wheels to customers; ensure safe delivery with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Load and unload products; collect payments and manage returns; maintain assigned vehicle.
• Assist in warehouse orders, loading/unloading trucks, and operate forklift as needed.

Job Details: Job Location: Houston - Houston, TX 77071, Salary Range: $19.50 - $19.50 Hourly, Travel Percentage: Road Warrior, Job Shift: Day, JOB TITLE: Driver

As a Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle. Although you will be delivering most of the time, you will also assist in the warehouse orders, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklift.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
