Job summary

Tireco Distributors in Bossier City, LA 71111 seeks a Driver to deliver tires and wheels, ensure safe handling and courteous service. You may handle payments, returns, and loading/unloading while supporting warehouse tasks as needed.

This role requires a valid driver's license (Class D in some states), DOT compliance, and the ability to cross state lines. Forklift operation and box truck driving experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid standard driver's license; Class D may be required in some states.
• Meet DOT compliance; pass a drug test and DOT physical; be 21+ and able to cross state lines.
• Ability to be insured under company policy; operate a box truck and forklift.
• Lift tires 30–80 lbs daily; team lift for 80 lbs+; 2+ years box truck experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires and wheels safely using a company vehicle.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and gather payments.
• Load/unload product and manage returns; assist in warehouse orders.
• Operate equipment such as a forklift; maintain the assigned vehicle.

Job Details: Job Location: Bossier City - Bossier City, LA 71111, Salary Range: $17.50 - $17.50 Hourly, Travel Percentage: Road Warrior, Job Shift: Day, JOB TITLE: Driver

As a Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle. Although you will be delivering most of the time, you will also assist in the warehouse orders, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklift.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Possess a valid standard driver's license, some states may require a Class D license - No CDL required
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical, be at least 21 years, eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy
• Ability to safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift
• Ability to manually move tires between 30 - 80 lbs daily. 80lbs+ requires a team lift
• Preferred - 2+ years experience safely operating a box truck
