Job summary

Tireco Distributors is seeking a Driver in East Hanover, NJ to deliver tires and wheels with a focus on safe, courteous service. You will load/unload, handle returns, collect payments, and maintain the company vehicle.

Role may involve assisting in warehouse orders and operating equipment such as a forklift. Requires valid license and DOT compliance; cross-state deliveries possible.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid standard driver's license (some states may require a Class D license) - No CDL required.
• DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical; 21+ years old; willing to cross state lines for deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires and wheels using a company vehicle with safe, professional customer service.
• Load and unload products; manage returns and collect payments.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and assist in warehouse orders; operate forklift when needed.

As a Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle. Although you will be delivering most of the time, you will also assist in the warehouse orders, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklift.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Possess a valid standard driver's license, some states may require a Class D license - No CDL required
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical, be at least 21 years, eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy
• Ability to safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift
• Ability to manually move tires between 30 - 80 lbs daily. 80lbs+ requires a team lift
• Preferred - 2+ years experience safely operating a box truck
