Job summary

Tireco, Inc is seeking a dependable Driver in Swedesboro, NJ to deliver tires and wheels using our company vehicle, ensuring safe and on-time arrivals while providing professional customer service.

You will also assist in warehouse tasks, loading and unloading, and help maintain the assigned vehicle and equipment. We offer a competitive hourly wage with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Valid standard driver’s license; some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical
• Willingness to cross state lines for deliveries as required
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy
• Able to operate box truck and forklift safely
• Capable of moving tires 30–80 lbs daily; team lift for heavier loads
• Preferred 2+ years experience safely operating a box truck

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires and wheels to customers in a safe, punctual manner
• Load and unload products; assist in warehouse orders and returns
• Collect payments and maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness

Salary Range: $24.00 - $24.00 Hourly

JOB TITLE: Driver

As a Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle. Although you will be delivering most of the time, you will also assist in the warehouse orders, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklift.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Possess a valid standard driver’s license, some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical, be at least 21 years, eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy
• Ability to safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift
• Ability to manually move tires between 30 – 80 lbs daily. 80lbs+ requires a team lift
• Preferred - 2+ years experience safely operating a box truck
