Job summary

Tireco Distributors in Dallas, TX is seeking a Driver to deliver tires and wheels with a company vehicle, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries and courteous customer service.

You will load/unload cargo, assist in warehouse orders, and operate equipment like a forklift. A valid license, DOT compliance, and willingness to cross state lines are required. Ability to work independently or in a team is valued.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid standard driver’s license; some states may require a Class D license; No CDL required.
• Meet DOT compliance requirements; pass drug test and DOT physical; be 21 years or older; willing to cross state lines as required.
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy and safely operate base equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires and wheels to customers using a company vehicle and provide friendly service.
• Load and unload products; assist in warehouse orders and forklift operation; manage returns and payments.

Job Details: Job Location: Dallas - Dallas, TX, Salary Range: $20.50 - $20.50Hourly, Travel Percentage: Road Warrior, Job Shift: Day, JOB TITLE: Driver

As a Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle. Although you will be delivering most of the time, you will also assist in the warehouse orders, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklift.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Possess a valid standard driver’s license, some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical, be at least 21 years, eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy
• Ability to safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift
• Ability to manually move tires between 30 – 80 lbs daily. 80lbs+ requires a team lift
• Preferred - 2+ years experience safely operating a box truck
