Job summary

Tireco Distributors (TD) in Houston, TX is seeking a Driver to deliver tires and wheels, maintain the company vehicle, and provide friendly service on every route.

The role requires a valid driver’s license (No CDL) and DOT compliance; you must be able to lift tires up to 80 lbs, operate a box truck and a clamp forklift, and be willing to cross state lines.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid standard driver’s license, some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required.
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical.
• Be at least 21 years old and willing to cross state lines for deliveries.
• Able to be insured under the company driving policy.
• Able to operate a box truck and a clamp forklift.
• Able to manually move tires between 30 – 80 lbs daily. 80lbs+ requires a team lift.
• Preferred - 2+ years experience safely operating a box truck.

Responsibilities

Salary Range: $19.50 - $19.50 Hourly

Travel Percentage: Road Warrior

JOB TITLE: Driver

As a Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle. Although you will be delivering most of the time, you will also assist in the warehouse orders, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklift.
