Job summary

Tireco Distributors seeks a Driver in Houston, TX to represent the company delivering tires and wheels. You will ensure safe, on-time deliveries with professional customer service and handle loading and unloading responsibilities. Occasional warehouse assistance, including forklift operation, is required.

Must be 21+, hold a valid license, and meet DOT requirements. Cross-state deliveries are possible; high emphasis on reliability and teamwork within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid standard driver’s license; some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required.
• Meet DOT requirements; pass drug test and DOT physical; be at least 21 years old; eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires and wheels using company vehicle; ensure safe delivery and professional customer service.
• Load and unload product; collect payments and manage returns; maintain assigned vehicle.

Salary Range: $19.50 - $19.50 Hourly

Travel Percentage: Road Warrior

JOB TITLE: Driver

As a Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle. Although you will be delivering most of the time, you will also assist in the warehouse orders, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklift.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Possess a valid standard driver’s license, some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical, be at least 21 years, eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy
• Ability to safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift
• Ability to manually move tires between 30 – 80 lbs daily. 80lbs+ requires a team lift
• Preferred - 2+ years experience safely operating a box truck
