Tireco, Inc is seeking a Driver in Houston, TX to represent the company and deliver tires and wheels to customers. The role involves safe driving, maintaining the vehicle, and providing excellent customer service during deliveries.

Shifts start around 6:30 AM with opportunities for advancement. Candidates should be able to lift tires and operate forklifts, with DOT compliance and a valid license required. This is a full-time on-site position in Houston.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and DOT compliance: drug test and DOT physical.
• Minimum 21 years old with willingness to cross state lines for deliveries.
• Ability to move tires manually and safely handle loads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires and wheels safely using company vehicle.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at each stop.
• Load and unload products as required.
• Collect payments and manage returns.
• Maintain the assigned vehicle and report faults.
• Assist with warehouse orders and inventory checks.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts when needed.

As a Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will serve as the face of the company, delivering essential products. Responsibilities include:

• Safe delivery of tires and wheels using a company vehicle
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Loading and unloading product
• Collecting payments and managing product returns
• Maintaining the assigned vehicle
• Assisting with warehouse orders
• Operating equipment such as forklifts

Schedule

Shift start time 6:30 AM.

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid standard driver’s license (some states may require a Class D license – no CDL required)
• DOT compliance: pass drug test and DOT physical; at least 21 years old; eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries
• Insured under company driving policy
• Safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift
• Manually move tires between 30 – 80 lbs daily; 80 lbs+ requires team lift
• Preferred: 2+ years experience safely operating a box truck
