Job summary

Tireco Distributors (TD) seeks a Driver to deliver tires and wheels with a focus on safe, friendly service in the Columbia West Columbia area. You will load/unload, collect payments, handle returns, and maintain the vehicle while also assisting in warehouse tasks and forklift operation.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to pass a DOT drug test and physical, and prior experience with box trucks or forklifts is a plus.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid regular driver’s license, some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required.
• Ability to safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift.
• Ability to pass a drug test and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires and wheels safely using company vehicle with professional customer service.
• Load and unload products and collect payments; manage returns.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and assist in warehouse orders, including loading/unloading trucks and operating forklift.

Job Location: Columbia - West Columbia, SC 29170, Salary Range: $17.00 - $19.50 Hourly, Travel Percentage: Road Warrior, Job Shift: Swing, JOB TITLE: Driver

As a Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle. Although you will be delivering most of the time, you will also assist in the warehouse orders, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklift.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a valid regular driver’s license, some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required
• Specific requirements (i.e. Saturday shift, long haul route)
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy
• Ability to safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift
• Ability to pass a drug test and DOT physical.
• Ability to manually move tires between 30 – 80 lbs daily. 80lbs+ requires a team lift
• Preferred - 2+ years experience safely operating a box truck
