Job summary

Tireco Distributors (TD) is seeking a Driver to be the face of our company in the Chicago area. You will safely deliver tires and wheels, provide friendly service, and handle loading, unloading, and payments. You may assist in warehouse tasks and operate equipment as required.

Minimal one requirement is a valid driver's license; no CDL is needed. The role offers weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid standard driver's license, some states may require a Class D license - No CDL required.
• Meet DOT requirements; pass drug test and DOT physical; be at least 21 years old; eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required.
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy
• Ability to safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift
• Ability to manually move tires between 30 - 80 lbs daily. 80lbs+ requires a team lift
• Preferred - 2+ years experience safely operating a box truck

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires and wheels using company vehicle; provide friendly customer service.
• Load and unload products; collect payments and manage returns.
• Maintain assigned vehicle; assist in warehouse orders and operate equipment as needed.

Salary Range: $18.50 - $19.50 Hourly

JOB TITLE: Driver

As a Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle. Although you will be delivering most of the time, you will also assist in the warehouse orders, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklift.
