Job summary

Tireco Distributors in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Driver to join our delivery team. You will safely operate a box truck to deliver tires and wheels, load and unload products, collect payments, and assist in warehouse tasks.

You will maintain your company vehicle and provide friendly customer service on every route. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, crossing state lines as required, and operating a clamp forklift when needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid standard driver’s license; some states may require Class D.
• DOT compliance: pass drug test and DOT physical; 21+ and willing to cross state lines for deliveries.
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy.
• Ability to safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift.
• Ability to manually move tires between 30–80 lbs daily; 80 lbs+ requires a team lift.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience safely operating a box truck.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires and wheels safely using a company vehicle.
• Provide friendly customer service on delivery routes.
• Load and unload products; collect payments.
• Manage product returns; maintain assigned vehicle.
• Assist in warehouse orders and operate forklift as needed.

As a Driverfor Tireco Distributors (TD),youwillbetheface of our companyand on the front linesdeliveringtheessentialproducts that keep our countryrolling. Youwillbe responsiblefor thesafedeliveryoftires andwheelsusinga company vehiclewhileproviding friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle. Although you will be delivering most of the time, you will also assist in the warehouse orders, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklift.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
