Job summary

Sirna & Sons Produce is seeking a delivery driver to join our family-run wholesale operation serving Ohio and surrounding areas. You will operate 26' box trucks (F550s) in a fast-paced environment, delivering to restaurants, hotels, and institutions.

Typical shift times begin early morning with 8–12 hour days, 15–25 stops per route, and you’ll typically be home daily. Lifting up to 50 pounds and DOT compliance are required; prior driving experience is preferred but not required for new CDL

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
• 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred but not required.
• No DUI/DWI allowed and able to meet DOT testing and physical requirements.
• Pass a required pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to work in hot, cold, dusty environments indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to cities across OH with 15–25 stops per day.
• Deliver 300+ cases per day; load and unload freight.
• Typically 8–12 hour shifts with start times between 4am and 6am.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various conditions.

Compensation:

• Starting Hourly Pay: $17.00 an hour
• Average annual earning range: $39,000- $46,000
• Hourly Base Rate with 45-55 average hours per week
• Overtime is paid after 40 hours worked
• Additional Pay Incentives:
• Performance Bonus: Eligible after 90 days

Home Time, Schedule & Route:

• Shift: Typically 8-12 hour shifts with start times between 4 am , 5am , 6am (until work is done)
• Route:Deliver to cities across OH
  • Routes can be 15-25 stops per day
  • Deliver 300+ cases per day (up/down stairs at some locations)
• Level of Touch: Touch Freight, load & unload
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50lbs with no assistance

Equipment:

• F550's up to 26' box trucks
• Trucks are automatic

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid license
• 1 year of commercial driving experience is preferred but not required
• 0 DUI/DWI are allowed
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• Must be able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions: hot, cold, dust, indoors and outdoors
