Job summary

The Delaney At The Vale is recruiting a hospitality focused Driver in Massachusetts. The role transports residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips, and may assist with housekeeping as needed.

The schedule offers part-time (Monday and Fridays) or full-time (Monday–Friday) opportunities. Salary is listed as $19–$22 per hour with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required.
• Must successfully pass DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
