Job summary

The Delaney At The Vale in Woburn, MA is seeking a hospitality focused Driver to transport residents to grocery stores, outings, and extended trips, with housekeeping duties as needed.

This part-time (Mon & Fri) or full-time (Mon-Fri) role offers a hourly pay range of $19–$22 and a benefits package including 401K, health and dental insurance.

The driver will assist residents on and off vehicles, coordinate equipment, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months experience as a bus/van driver.
• Must pass DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
