Job summary

Midway Car Rental in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking a Customer Service Driver to deliver and pick up vehicles and assist customers with a friendly, professional approach.

You will complete vehicle condition forms, help guests understand vehicle features, and maintain a clean, safe operation. The role requires high energy, excellent communication, and availability nights/weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Pass background checks including MVR, SSN validation, and criminal record.
• Clean driving record with limited incidents in past years.
• Minimum 3 years of license history and recent active driving.

Responsibilities

• Delivery/Pick up vehicles and/or customers from various locations while maintaining professional driving standards.
• Complete vehicle check in/out forms for disclosure of vehicle conditions (fuel level, mileage, damage).
• Wash/clean interior and exterior of vehicles as needed.
• Greet customers upon return of the vehicle.
• Be knowledgeable about the vehicle fleet and provide information on operation and features.

Responsibilities

• Delivery/Pick up vehicles and/or customers from various locations while maintaining professional and legal driving standards and expectations.
• Complete vehicle check in and check out forms in an efficient and accurate manner for disclosure of vehicle conditions. (i.e fuel level, mileage, damage)
• Wash/Clean interior and exterior of vehicles when needed.
• Greet each customer upon return of the vehicle.
• Be knowledgeable on vehicle fleet and be able to provide any additional information necessary on the operation of the vehicle and its features.

• Clean driving record with no drug or alcohol related driving incidents within a 5-7 year period; No more than 1 serious moving violation in the last 3 years; No driving related suspensions or revocation of Driver License within a 5-7 year period. Will be subject to continuous Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring
• Minimum 3 years of license history and recent active driving

Compensation

• $18.62-$20.12 hr
• The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, and education when applicable.
