Job summary

Midway Car Rental in Santa Monica is seeking a customer-focused delivery associate to handle vehicle pick-ups and drop-offs, perform vehicle check-ins/outs, and ensure a clean, welcoming experience for all customers.

The role requires excellent communication, high energy, and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. A clean driving record and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication required.

• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Pass background check, pre-employment drug test, SSN validation and criminal record review.
• Clean driving record with limited incidents in the recent years and active license.

Responsibilities

• Delivery/Pick up vehicles and/or customers from various locations while maintaining professional standards.
• Complete vehicle check in/out forms with accurate disclosure of vehicle conditions.
• Wash/Clean interior and exterior of vehicles when needed.
• Greet each customer upon return of the vehicle.
• Be knowledgeable about vehicle fleet and provide information on operation and features.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Delivery/Pick up vehicles and/or customers from various locations while maintaining professional and legal driving standards and expectations.
• Complete vehicle check in and check out forms in an efficient and accurate manner for disclosure of vehicle conditions. (i.e fuel level, mileage, damage)
• Wash/Clean interior and exterior of vehicles when needed.
• Greet each customer upon return of the vehicle.
• Be knowledgeable on vehicle fleet and be able to provide any additional information necessary on the operation of the vehicle and its features.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Pass background; inclusive of Pre-Employment Drug Test, SSN Validation, and Criminal Record
• Clean driving record with no drug or alcohol related driving incidents within a 5-7 year period; No more than 1 serious moving violation in the last 3 years; No driving related suspensions or revocation of Driver License within a 5-7 year period. Will be subject to continuous Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring
• Minimum 3 years of license history and recent active driving

Compensation:

• $18.62-$20.12
• The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, and education when applicable.
