Job summary

Abraxas Youth & Family Services in Shelby, OH is seeking a Driver for Regular Full Time Professional work. The role involves transporting clients and staff, supervising clients during trips, and completing required documentation in relation to vehicle operations.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, insurance, and be at least 21 years old. Equal opportunity employer, paid training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license from employee’s state of residence.
• Valid registered vehicle insurance.
• At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34, state & child clearances and FBI if necessary).
• Non-communicable diseases physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Transports clients and staff to off campus appointments.
• Provides direct supervision to clients at all times during transportation.
• Provides necessary clinical documentation as needed in reference to transporting clients and staff.
• Completes the necessary documentation in reference to the operation of the company vehicles.
• Provides routine inspections of the company vehicles.
• Provides routine cleanliness checks.
• Provides routine supply checks of equipment in vehicles.
• Provides appropriate crisis intervention as needed.
• Provides appropriate Safe Physical Management intervention as needed.

What You'll Do
