Transdev in Sandusky, OH is hiring CDL and Non‑CDL Drivers! Walk‑in interviews welcome. Monday‑Friday 9:00 AM-3:00 PM. We train you to get your CDL.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety‑Focused Operations: Execute flawless operations by following designated routes and schedules while adhering to stringent safety protocols and traffic regulations.
• Passenger Care: Exhibit exceptional care and assistance to passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
• Vehicle Vigilance: Champion vehicle safety through comprehensive pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance issues, and maintaining cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
• Adherence to Protocols: Uphold company policies and procedures rigorously, including seat‑belt enforcement, emergency response readiness, and regulatory compliance.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• Must be local to Sandusky, Ohio – no remote opportunities.
• Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and air‑brake endorsement.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis.

Physical Requirements

• Work outside in varying temperatures, weather, and humidity – 100% of the job is performed outside, often in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances and on sloped, slippery, or uneven surfaces.
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch for equipment stored at ground level.
• Withstand heavy traffic and tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
