Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Salem, Oregon seeks a Driver to provide transportation for residents, including outings and medical appointments, in a timely and orderly manner.

You will operate buses and other vehicles safely, schedule destinations, stay reachable for schedule changes, and help with paperwork. The role offers benefits including paid holidays, PTO, and 401(k) with employer match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a good driving record; CDL may be required and must provide driving record before employment.
• Ability to drive the bus or other vehicles in compliance with regulations.
• Operate vehicles safely at all times.
• Maintain the bus/vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for residents, including outings and medical appointments, in a timely and orderly manner.
• Drive bus/vehicles to destinations; follow management direction for scheduling.
• Remain accessible to Management during work hours via cellphone/pager for schedule changes.
• Ensure buses/vehicles are clean and well maintained.
• Complete paperwork related to job duties as required.
• May perform other duties within the community when not driving or on relief.

• Ability to drive the bus or other vehicles, meeting all federal and state driving regulations and requirements
• Ability to operate the bus or other vehicles in a safe manner at all times

Responsibilities

In the role of Driver you will provide transportation for residents, which may include outings and medical appointments in a timely and orderly manner.

• Drive the bus or other vehicles to and from required destinations while operating the vehicle in a safe manner at all time.
• Schedule destinations of the bus or other vehicles as directed by the Management Team.
• Be accessible to the management team during working hours via cell phone and/or pager or other means in the event of changes to schedule or unforeseen circumstances arise.
• Ensure the bus and/or other vehicles are clean
• Timely completion and submission of paperwork related to the performance of job duties as required by operations procedures, or as requested.
• May be assigned to other job functions in the community when not driving or on a relief basis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

The wage range for this position is $16.00/hr - $19.20/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience
