Parking Concepts, Inc. in Sacramento is seeking a dependable Shuttle Driver / Light Duty Vehicle Maintenance Worker. You will transport passengers between Granite Regional Park County and the State Offices, while performing basic maintenance on two shuttle buses.

The role also involves keeping vehicles clean, conducting daily inspections, and ensuring safety and courteous passenger interactions. A valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement and DOT screening are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement.
• Clean DMV record: no moving violations in the past year, no more than two in the prior three years.
• Ability to meet all federal and state driving standards.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass a DOT physical exam and pre-employment alcohol/drug screening.
• No DUI/DWI or drug abuse convictions; no suspended license within past five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable shuttle service along the approved route, adhering to traffic laws and schedule.
• Oversee light maintenance; perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; coordinate with shops as needed.
• Greet passengers professionally and operate wheelchair lift when required.
• Maintain route integrity and limit off-route passenger interactions to designated areas.
• Assist with fleet records and support fellow drivers as needed.

In this dual-purpose role, you will provide friendly, courteous, and prompt transportation services for passengers traveling between the Granite Regional Park County and State Offices in Sacramento and the nearby light rail station.This unique position also involves hands-on, light-duty maintenance to ensure our shuttle fleet remains safe, clean, and in top operating condition.What’s In It For You?Stable Work Environment: A reliable workplace with a supportive team.Work-Life Balance: Regular part-time schedule of 20–30 hours per week.Competitive Compensation: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour (negotiable based on qualifications), plus benefits.Key ResponsibilitiesSafe & Reliable Shuttle Service: Drive with the utmost care and caution, strictly complying with all applicable traffic laws. Follow the assigned route accurately, ensuring every scheduled stop is made on time.Vehicle Maintenance & Fleet Safety: Oversee the light maintenance of two shuttle buses. Conduct thorough daily pre- and post-trip inspections, clean the buses regularly, and coordinate visits to detail or repair shops as needed.Exceptional Customer Experience: Greet every passenger in a friendly, professional manner.
