Job summary

Gemaire Distributors in Roanoke, Virginia is seeking a Driver to load, deliver, and transport HVAC freight within a defined region. The role requires 24 months driving a 16’ minimum box truck or stake bed and a clean driving record. You will work Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Pay ranges from $21 to $23 per hour; benefits include safety training and DOT/compliance support. Applicants must pass a DOT physical and background check.

Qualifications

• 24 months of verifiable experience driving a 16’ minimum box truck or stake bed truck.
• Clean driving record: no more than one moving violation in any one year period; no more than one preventable accident in any two year period; no DUI in past 3 years.
• Ability to pass DOT physical examination requirements.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
