Job summary

Heating and Cooling Supply LLC, the HVAC distribution leader, is seeking a Delivery Driver to load, deliver, and transport HVAC freight within our California region.

The role requires a 22’+ box truck, clean driving record, DOT physical, and excellent customer service. Standard hours, full-time employment, and a benefits package are offered. You will work with a dynamic team at our Bakersfield area locations, with opportunities to learn and grow within the Gemaire/H&C network.

Qualifications

• Drive a 22’ minimum box truck or stake bed with verifiable experience.
• Maintain a clean driving record with limited violations.
• Pass DOT physical requirements and pre-employment checks.
• Communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.
• Be willing to learn and grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver HVAC freight and materials within defined region.
• Collect invoices with signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
• Assist in the warehouse with inventory, picking, and order verification.
• Maintain daily truck checklist and report merchandiser returns.
• Adhere to safety requirements and wear PPE as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Here is what you will be doing as part of the team:

Required Qualifications

• 24 months of verifiable, current experience driving a 22’ minimum box truck, or stake bed truck.
• Possess a clean driving record:
• No more than one moving violation in any one year period.
• No more than one preventable accident in any two year period.
• No restrictions, suspensions or DUI convictions in the past 3 years.
• Ability to pass DOT physical examination requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.
• A willingness to learn and grow with our Company.

Other Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• Warehouse experience, including driving a forklift/appliance lift, is a plus.

Job Requirements

Looking for a Cool Job in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team representing the industry leaderin HVAC distribution? The Driver loads, delivers, and transports HVAC freight and materials from one ofour established wholesale HVAC distributorships to customers within a defined region.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Load and unload products for delivery in assigned region.
• Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
• Assist in the Warehouse with inventory counts, picking, verifying orders, and several Warehouseduties.
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandisereturns.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties asassigned.
